At the time of our sailing the Celebration's homeport was out of Miami so we decided to head down the day before.  We stayed at Comfort Inn & Suites Downtown Brickell - Port of Miami - this hotel was beautiful!  We had a gorgeous view of the canal that had nonstop yacht traffic day and night.  If you value sleep, this may not be the hotel for you - we could very easily hear party boats all night and morning long but the view made it worth it.  The best part of this hotel is we did not have to drive under the downtown tunnel that everyone complains about with port traffic.

We spent the evening at Bayside Marketplace  where we enjoyed bars, restaurants and shopping.  We even rode a giant ferris wheel that gave us a nice view of downtown Miami.
This ship was just like the Mardi Gras - only with a different theme.  The Celebration is more of a Caribbean vibe.
We ate in the MDR and most of the specialty restaurants.  When we ate at Chibang we paid for the Peking Duck and it was a whole experience!
We all really loved Street Eats on this ship.  Each station features a different snack daily which will be displayed on your app (sometimes it was wrong) but everything we ate was amazing!  Steam Dream features asian dumplings, Mad Sizzle features Mediterranean plates and Time Fries features loaded fries.  Definitely do not miss these places when on an excel class ship!
We also really enjoyed the deli this sailing.  Our favorite evening snacks were the meatball sandwich, turkey sandwich and hotdogs!
meatballs, ricotta, parmesan cheese and marinara on tomato focaccia
turkey, avocado, cucumber, arugula and basil on a pretzel bun
