Grand Turk Cruise Center has shops, restaurants, a beach, a surfing simulator and a pool with a swim up bar. Definitely enough to keep you busy and have fun while in port if you did not book an excursion. This port is also the home of the only pink Starbucks in the entire world!
We did the Grand Turk Flavors, Sightseeing & Lunch excursion on this trip and I would not recommend it. We drove around the island in a bus and while we appreciated the tour guides time very much, we couldn't understand a word he said. Our lunch was delicious but overall I found this excursion to be very boring and not worth the money/time. The restaurant we ate lunch at gave us a lesson in making conch fritters and shared a recipe:
On a trip in 2022 we did the catamaran sail, snorkel & secluded beach & drinks excursion and had a BLAST! The reef was a bit dead, that part was disappointing but our guide did bring food down to attract a bunch of fish. The rum punch ended up being unlimited and there was a DJ booth onboard so we partied the rest of the afternoon away. I would definitely book this excursion again!
