HUMMUS



1 can garbanzo beans, drained
1/4 cup olive or vegetable oil
1 clove garlic, cut in half
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon salt

Dipping options: pita bread wedges, bagel chips, crackers, raw vegetables, etc.

Place all ingredients in blender or food processor. Cover and blend on high speed, stopping blender occasionally to scrape sides if necessary, until uniform consistency.
