I found a couple different recipes for these online and tweaked them to our liking. These eggs are delicious as is or over rice or even included in a bowl of ramen. The marinade is amazing and we plan to try it on meat as well.
1 dozen hard boiled eggs, use the directions for hard boiling HERE
1 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup rice vinegar
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup honey
1 tablespoon red pepper flakes
1 tablespoon sesame seeds
6 minced garlic cloves or 2 tablespoons of jarred mined garlic
1 tablespoon sesame oil
3 chopped green onions
Mix all of the marinade ingredients together in a large jar or container with a lid. Submerge the peeled boiled eggs in the marinade and allow to rest for 24 hours in the fridge. Gentle rotate the container around multiple times a day to ensure all parts of the eggs are submerged, then enjoy!
