FRIED EGG ROLL WRAPPERS

vegetable oil
egg roll wrappers

Heat 1/2" oil in a skillet until it reaches 350º.
Lay egg roll sheets out and cut in half long ways and then cut into strips.
Fry strips in oil, turning once and remove once they start to brown.  
This will be very quick!

Serve these in egg drop soup or hot and sauce soup

or dust them with seasonings and snack on them like chips!
season salt....garlic salt.....cinnamon and sugar

If making for snacking, you can make these in the microwave but don't do this for soup because they get gummy as soon as they hit the hot liquid.

Cut egg roll wrappers into strips.
Lay a paper towel on a plate and lay out egg roll strips on top.  Spray strips with cooking spray or lightly brush with oil and sprinkle with your choice of seasonings.
Microwave for about a minute or two until browned and crispy.
