My entire family loves this fried rice. We especially love to make it with orange chicken and egg drop soup!
next time I'd like to add butter with the sesame oil
3 cups of cooked white rice, we use jasmine rice (day old or leftover rice)
3 tablespoons sesame oil
1 cup frozen peas & carrots mix
1 small onion, chopped
2 teaspoons minced garlic
3 eggs
1/4 cup soy sauce
heat sesame oil on medium high heat in large skillet, add peas & carrots, onion and garlic. stir until tender.
lower heat to medium low and push everything aside, crack eggs into pan and stir until scrambled. add rice and soy sauce and mix all together.
fry rice until heated through and flip occasionally to prevent burning.
