we did the ultimate combo: mayan ruins, snorkeling & lunch excursion and really enjoyed it. The mayan ruins was a lot of talking about history and a short walk. There were lots of mosquitos out by the ruins. The lunch was delicious and fun especially the chocolate and tequila tasting! Snorkeling was the highlight of the trip. I loved the beach area where we snorkeled and there were bars and shops and places to buy photos.
We had an oceanview room with 5 people in it. It was definitely tight but worked well. We placed one suitcase under the bed and the others in corners so everyone had space to walk.
We attended the shop. eat. explore. onboard & ashore to receive one of the collectable barrel charms and were given this really helpful map of the port in Cozumel. There were giveaways to enter during the event and a book you could buy that gave coupons for free items in port. Would be something fun to do if you didn't book an excursion.
Collectable coffee mug for purchase at JavaBlue Cafe
