PUMPKIN SPICE LATTE


1 cup milk
1 tablespoon pumpkin puree
2 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
1/4 cup coffee 
whipped cream

hot:
Mix milk, pumpkin puree, sugar, vanilla extract and pumpkin pie spice in a sauce pan and heat gently (do not boil) while stirring to combine.  Pour into cup with hot coffee and top with whipped cream and an additional sprinkle of pumpkin pie spice.

iced:
In a shaker bottle combine milk, pumpkin puree, sugar, vanilla extract and pumpkin pie spice and shake until well combined.  Pour mixture over ice and add cold brew.  Top with whipped cream and an additional sprinkle of pumpkin pie spice.

*Loved this but would love the pumpkin flavor to be stronger and not sure vanilla extract is really needed.  Will play with this recipe a bit but it is good as it too.  If you make any changes, let me know!
