SMASH CINNAMON ROLLS

 

butter
can of cinnamon rolls with icing
smash tool or large metal spatula
wax paper

melt butter on Blackstone (or griddle) on low heat.  Once butter is melted, lay each cinnamon roll out and smash using a smash tool or large metal spatula - put a piece of wax paper (not parchment) between the cinnamon roll and tool to prevent from sticking.  
Cook on each side until done and golden brown.  Keeping the temp on low is key because you do not want a raw center with burnt outsides.
Drizzle with icing and serve warm.

The flavor and texture of these reminded me of cinnastix and I liked them even better than baking in the oven!
