BROILED GARLIC CHICKEN

I love broiled chicken because it's quick, easy and gives you that crunchy chicken skin that is so flavorful and yummy!  I use to just coat my chicken in either butter or olive oil and sprinkle with garlic salt and broil - SUPER EASY!  But this recipe is amazing and I look forward to trying more recipes to coat the chicken with!

8-12 chicken legs
1 stick butter
1/4 cup minced garlic
3 tablespoons soy sauce
3 teaspoons ground ginger
3 teaspoons dried basil
1/4 teaspoon pepper

In a bowl combine all sauce ingredients together and microwave until your butter is melted.  Dip each chicken leg into the sauce, coating well and laying out on a sheet pan lined with foil.

Broil on middle rack for 10 minutes.  Turn chicken, baste with additional sauce and broil for 10 more minutes, for a total of 20 minutes.

Juices from chicken legs should run clear and the temperature when done should be 165º.
