COFFEE GRANITA

 

several cups of coffee
sugar or simple syrup
sweetened condensed milk

Brew several cups of coffee (4+cups).  Add 1-2 tablespoons of sugar per cup of coffee to the hot coffee and stir to dissolve.  Or use cold brew and use simple syrup instead of sugar.

Pour coffee into a large Tupperware container or casserole dish, the more surface area (wide and shallow) the better.

Place in the freezer for one hour.  Take a fork and scrape the ice away from the edges and stir well.  Repeat this process every 30 minutes until the entire container is the consistence of shaved ice with no liquid remaining.  Cover and store in the freezer and scoop out when desired to eat.  Top with sweetened condensed milk just before serving.
