CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES

 



*If you want thicker fluffier cookies, omit 1 stick of butter

2 1/2 cups flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 sticks butter, softened
1 cup white sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 eggs
12oz bag of semi sweet chocolate chips (or two cups)

In a bowl combine flour, salt and baking soda.
In an electric mixing bowl, cream together butter and sugar.  Mix in vanilla and eggs until combined.  Add in flour mixture and mix until combined.  
Stir in chocolate chips.
Use a 2 tablespoon scoop and scoop cookies onto a sheet pan that is covered in parchment paper.
Bake at 375º for 7 minutes.

want a sweet and salty kick?  Add 2 cups of potato chips to your cookie batter!
