MAC N CHEESE GRILLED CHEESE

Our family loves mac n cheese so this recipes makes a lot.  You can easily cut it in half and still have enough for several sandwiches, we just happen to like left overs ;)

16oz elbow macaroni
16oz colby & monterey jack shredded cheese
1 stick butter
2 teaspoons onion or garlic salt
bread
mayonnaise 

Bring water to a boil in a stock pot and boil macaroni for 10 minutes, when done drain.  Add stick of butter to stock pot and heat until melted.  Add macaroni, cheese and onion or garlic salt to the pot and stir until cheese is melted.  Remove pan from heat.

Spread mayonnaise on the outsides of all the bread slices.  Scoop mac and cheese onto bread and cook in a skillet over medium heat until outside is golden brown, flip and do the other side. 

Serve with tomato soup!
