BOURBON CHICKEN

The title to this chicken is misleading since there's no bourbon in this recipe but I felt this was the only name fitting...  years ago my neighbor Janice introduced me to this chicken and it immediately struck a familiar cord with my taste buds, it tasted like the bourbon chicken from Mandarin Express at Lynnhaven Mall in Virginia Beach!  This chicken is super yummy leftover, warmed up with mayo as a sandwich.

1 - 2 lbs chicken boneless skinless chicken thighs
1/2 cup soy sauce
1 1/2 tablespoons sesame oil
2 teaspoons ground ginger
1/2 cup brown sugar
3 garlic cloves, pressed
1/4 cup fresh rosemary, chopped (or about 3 tablespoons dried)

Mix all marinade ingredients together in a bowl and pour into a gallon plastic bag, add thighs to bag and marinate in fridge for 2-4 hours.

Grill chicken for about 10 minutes, turning several times so sugar does not burn.

Thank you Janice for this delicious recipe!!!
