I love the flavor of strong spices in rice pudding.  I put a generous amount of ground cinnamon and clove in each individual serving after warming it up.  Many people tried this dish and some thought the sweetness was perfect while others thought it wasn't sweet enough.  Next time I might add sugar to the mix while it's cooking but I liked it as the recipe states.

1 cup jasmine rice
3 cups water
2 cinnamon sticks
1 teaspoon whole cloves
1 can evaporated milk
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 cup milk
ground cinnamon & clove

In a sauce pan combine water, rice, cinnamon sticks and cloves.  Bring to a boil and then simmer for 15-20, minutes covered.
Add the 3 milks and cook for about 5 more minutes, stirring frequently.
Add ground cinnamon & clove to taste to entire batch or individual servings.
