6lb pork butt
1 1/2 tbsp course salt
2 tbsp liquid smoke

Pierce pork several times with a knife. Place in a crock pot and rub salt and liquid smoke all over it. Cook on low for 8 to 10 hours.  Or overnight if you wish.

I also use this recipe for Pork 'n Waffles, a family favorite!!!

*Kalua Pork is the traditional way a pig is slow cooked over flame in an underground oven in Hawaii.
