SWEET ICED TEA




12 tea bags
1 3/4 cup sugar

1. Put cold water in a pot and turn burner on med-high heat. Attach 12 tea bag strings with a boil safe clip, add tea bags to water and push down with a spoon to get them wet.

2. As soon as water comes to a boil turn off burner and let the tea bags steep in the water for 5 minutes. Once 5 minutes is up, remove tea bags with a slotted spoon and stir in sugar. Mixing in the sugar while tea is warm will ensure it melts into the tea.

3. Once tea is throughly mixed, pour into a one gallon pitcher and add cold water to fill pitcher. Chill tea before serving.

*You can skip the sugar part and just add sugar to each individual glass.
*My favorite is mint tea bags!
