MACARONI & CHEESE CASSEROLE


My favorite dish to bring to a potluck!

8oz elbow macaroni
16 oz sharp cheddar cheese
4-5 slices of bread with crust removed, ripped or cut into small pieces
2 cups milk
2 teaspoons onion salt
1/4 cup flour
1/4 cup butter (melted)

Boil and drain macaroni.  Mix milk, flour and onion salt vigorously for one minute until foamy.
Mix cheese, maccaroni and milk mixture together. Pour into greased pan.
Sprinkle bread on top. Drizzle with butter and bake for 45 minutes at 350 degrees.

To double:  Only double the pasta
