BACON, EGG & CHEESE SLIDERS

12 Hawaiian rolls
8 slices bacon, cut into thirds
6 eggs
milk
salt & pepper
6 slices sharp cheddar cheese
1/4 cup butter
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon dried parsley

preheat oven to 350º
cut rolls in half and place in a 9x11 baking dish
cut bacon slices into thirds and begin frying to desired crispiness
whisk eggs with a splash of milk, salt & pepper and scramble in a pan
melt butter and mix well with onion & garlic powder and dried parsley

to assemble sliders
cut each slice of cheese into 4 equal squares and place 1 square on each roll
spoon scrambled eggs over cheese
place two strips of bacon criss-cross over eggs and top with another square of cheese
replace tops of rolls and brush with butter mixture
bake for 15 minutes

we enjoyed these leftover heated up in the microwave but I also plan to freeze them to be able to enjoy for a quick breakfast.
