1 can chick peas, drained
2 tablespoons olive oil, plus more for drizzle
2 teaspoons smoked paprika
2 teaspoons garlic powder
2 teaspoons oregano
1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
7oz feta cheese
1 cup greek yogurt
1 garlic clove
lemon (only using zest)
Toss chick peas in olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, oregano and pepper flakes until well coated. Place in a pan and roast in the oven at 400ยบ for 20 minutes. (The oil and spices tasted so amazing I wanted to double or triple it for dipping bread!)
Put feta, yogurt, garlic and lemon zest from half the lemon in a food processor and mix until smooth and creamy. Place whipped feta in a serving dish and spread out chick peas on top. Drizzle with more olive oil and the other half of the lemon zest.
Serve with pita, bagel chips, veggies, etc.
