My family loves to eat roasted or steamed artichokes so I want to try and grow them in my yard. I did some research and read that they are ok for our zone of 9a. The packet says to start the seeds indoors in my area March - May and move outside after our last frost. I missed the date a bit and I started them on 22 June 2022 but that's not too far off so I'm not worried. I can't wait to see how these do!

I started all of the seeds in one cup. Moistened the soil and placed in a plastic bag for a greenhouse effect. Once the plants get a couple inches tall I'll separate them into their own small containers. I do this mainly to save room while starting plants.
