Marinate porterhouse steak for 1 hour in your favorite marinade.
Preheat gas or charcoal grill to high. Grill steaks over direct heat for 2 minutes. Rotate steak 90º and grill for another 2 minutes. Flip steak and repeat until desired doneness (rare, medium rare, medium, well done).
Remove from heat and allow steak to rest for 10 minutes before serving.
