GREEN ONIONS

To re-grow green onions you simply cut the store bought ones a couple inches above the root and pop in a jar of water.  You can also plant them outside in soil.  They will start re-growing immediately and soon you can snip off what you need for recipes!

The top photo was taken the evening I cut the green onions and placed them in water, the bottom photo was taken the very next morning.  They grew 1/2" over night!
