2 tablespoons sugar (powdered or granulated)
2 tablespoons boiling water
1 cup milk
ice
With an electric mixer, mix coffee, sugar and water on high for 2 minutes until stiff peaks form.
Put milk and ice in a cup and spoon whipped coffee on top.
*I made 4 drinks at once so I quadrupled the recipe by using 1/2 cup each of coffee, sugar and water. We found it difficult to mix the whipped coffee with the milk when it was whipped this thick. View recipe below for using a milk frother.
2 teaspoons instant coffee
2 teaspoons sugar
2 tablespoons hot water
milk
flavored syrup
Add coffee, sugar and water to your glass and use a milk frother for a minute or two to get the mixture thick. Add ice, milk and flavored syrup, if desired.
*whipping the coffee in the glass first or adding it on top of the milk is pure preference and you will end up with the same tasting drink.
