Fripp Island, South Carolina

I stayed on Fripp Island in April of 2017. The home we stayed at, 412 Skimmer Cove, was amazing with a large balcony overlooking a lake. I LOVED sitting in a rocking chair on that balcony watching a gator snap at fish while drinking coffee in the mornings. I also loved the hammock out back.

Most houses came with a golf cart that you could drive around the island and to the beach.

There were restaurants, a store, a nature center, a marina and plenty of activities to do on Fripp Island.

Parts of Forrest Gump was filmed there and in one of the restaurants they had photos from when the movie crew was filming there.

There are tons of deer roaming the island and they will approach you. They are so cute!
