HOT BUTTERED RUM

 I personally do not enjoy alcohol when it is warm.  I did however enjoy this drink much more with salted caramel crown vs. rum.  If you are bothered by drinking butter this makes an amazing honey butter spread for on rolls or toast!

2 sticks butter, softened
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup honey
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
1/2 teaspoon allspice

Rum (or your preferred alcohol)
hot water
cinnamon sticks for garnish, if desired

Combine butter, sugar, honey, cinnamon, cloves and allspice and place batter in a sealed mason jar, keep in the fridge until ready for use.

When ready to serve, put 2 tablespoons of batter in a mug with 2oz of alcohol and add hot water to melt batter.  Garnish with cinnamon stick.
