SUCCULENTS

I love succulents!  Succulents LOVE sunlight.
They need a fast draining soil, a great combo is part succulent soil mixed with part perlite or lava rock.
They do not enjoy to be watered often.  I do the soak and dry method of watering once a week until the pot drains, allowing the soil to fully dry out before watering again the following week.
epicuticular wax "farina" is a wax coating that is present on some succulent leaves. It protects the plant and acts as their sunscreen.  It will rub off if you touch the plant and cannot grow back.  (photo below)
I enjoy learning and identifying my succulents at world of succulents and mountain crest gardens.
