On October 9, 2018 I purchased and ate my very first dragon fruit. I bought it from publix and have no idea how to pick out a ripe one. I did not enjoy it. The texture of the fruit along with the tons of seeds reminded me of a kiwi but it wasn't sweet and pretty much tasted like nothing. However, I attempted to grow dragon fruit plants from the seeds and so far it's working! I started the seeds in a plastic bag with a paper towel and once they sprouted I moved them into cups with soil.
