You can grow popcorn! The popcorn kernels you buy in the store to pop on the stove. I put them in a ziplock bag with a moist paper towel to get them started and then plant in cups. They grow so fast you can see a difference in their height every day.

15 June 2022 - today I fertilized with coffee
21 June 2022 - today I noticed what looked like a stalk with seeds on my corn. I googled it and apparently this is called a tassel. The tassel is the male reproductive organ which will produce pollen. The pollen is suppose to be blown into silk to fertilize the stalk and create an ear of corn. Hopefully I'll see silk soon!
22 June 2022 - and the very next day I saw silk!!!
