This drink was delicious and reminded my kids and I of drinking hot lemon tea when we're are sick. It was very a very comforting drink. What we didn't like about it was the large pulp chunks you get from simmering the citrus slices, if you absolutely hate pulp I would skip the citrus slices.
3 cups orange juice
3 cups apple cider (or juice)1 lemon, thinly sliced
2 oranges, thinly sliced
5 cinnamon sticks
10 whole cloves
3 tablespoons honey
Bring all ingredients except honey to a boil. Cover, lower temp and allow to simmer for 5 minutes.
Remove cloves and add honey. Serve warm
