COMPOUND BUTTER


Use homemade butter to create these delicious varieties of flavor enhanced butters or use store bought butter brought to room temperature.  Compound butter is served with breads, on a freshly grilled hot steak, corn on the cob, etc... 

CILANTRO LIME BUTTER
1/4 cup butter, softened
1 lime
1 teaspoon finely snipped fresh cliantro
1/4 teaspoon salt

Place butter in a small bowl. Zest lime; finely chop zest to measure 1 teaspoon. Juice lime to measure 1 teaspoon juice. Finely snip cilantro. Add zest, juice, cilantro and salt to softened butter. Mix well, refridgerate 30 minutes.

CAJUN BUTTER
1/4 cup butter
1 teaspoon cajun herb seasoning
pinch of salt

DILL LEMON BUTTER
1/4 cup butter
1 teaspoon dill mix
1/2 teaspoon finely chopped lemon zest
pinch of salt

LEMON PEPPER PARSLEY BUTTER
1/4 cup butter
1 teaspoon lemon pepper seasoning
1 teaspoon finely snipped parsley
pinch of salt

GARLIC ROSEMARY BUTTER
1 cup butter
2 tablespoons fresh rosemary, chopped
1 tablespoon fresh garlic, minced
1 teaspoon lemon juice
pinch of salt and pepper








SOUTHWESTERN BUTTER
1/4 cup butter
1 teaspoon southwestern seasoning or taco seasoning
pinch of salt

TOMATO BASIL BUTTER
1/4 cup butter
1 tablespoon finely chopped sundried tomatoes packed in oil
1 teaspoon finely snipped fresh basil leaves
pinch of garlic salt

WHIPPED HONEY BUTTER
1 cup butter softened at room temperature (Do Not Melt)
1/2 cup honey
1 tsp cinnamon
