PEPPERMINT SPOONS


Spoon mold - I used this one by Wilton
Red & green starlite mints
bakers chocolate or chocolate chips
Christmas sprinkles

Preheat oven to 300*
Crush peppermint candies in a ziplock bag, I used a meat mallet to crush them.
Place mold on a cookie sheet to keep from bending and put in the oven for about 10 minutes.
*If you see some areas on the spoon that look too thin you can add more crushed mint but not too much or the back of the spoon will look sloppy.
Let cool before popping the spoons out of the mold.

I made these as teachers gifts and added them to a cone bag of hot chocolate mix and marshmallows.
