CROCKPOT RANCH CHICKEN & ROASTED GARLIC MASHED POTATOES

5-6 chicken breasts 
2 (14 ounce) cans cream of chicken soup
1 stick of butter, separated 
2 (1 ounce) packages ranch dry salad dressing mix
4-5 cloves garlic
7 large russet potatoes
milk
salt and pepper


Place chicken in crockpot.  In a bowl mix together soup, 4 tablespoons melted butter and ranch packets.  Pour over chicken.
Peel garlic cloves and place in a small square of foil, make a pouch and place it in crockpot.
Cook in crockpot on low for 4 hours (6 hours max).
Peel and slice potatoes, boil for 15 minutes or until tender.  Drain and mash potatoes with 4 tablespoons butter, salt, pepper and splash of milk until desired texture.  Take roasted garlic out of crockpot and add it to the mashed potatoes to taste.
Serve chicken over mashed potatoes and spoon gravy from crockpot over meal.
