APPLE POCKETS



2 apples
2 tablespoons sugar, plus more to sprinkle
1 teaspoon cinnamon, plus more to sprinkle
1 package refrigerated biscuits

1. Heat oven to 350°F. Combine sugar and cinnamon into a bowl. Core and peel apples; grate them or finely dice and add them to the sugar and cinnamon.

2. Roll each biscuit to about a 5-inch circle. Spoon apple mixture onto circles. Fold circles over and pinch edges to make half-moons. Place on a baking sheet.

3. Brush pies with water and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar. Bake 20 minutes.
