SANTA CUPCAKES



1 box white cake mix
red gel food coloring
chocolate chips
flaked coconut
1 can vanilla frosting
mini marshmellows
red hot candies

1. Bake cupcakes as directed on box.

2. Divide frosting – 2/3 tinted with red gel food coloring and 3 tbs set aside for hat trim. Frost 1/3 of the top of each cupcake with red frosting. Frost the rest of the cupcake with the remaining white frosting. Put the reserved 3 tbs of white frosting in a plastic bag, cut corner and pipe a line where the red frosting meets the white frosting.

3. Press mini marshmellow on one side of hat for pom-pom. Place two chocolate chips point tip down for eyes, one red hot for nose and coconut flake for beard.
